Tortilla Flat

On the Apache Trail, a dirt road through the Sonoran Desert from Roosevelt Lake into Phoenix, lies the strange little “town” of Tortilla Flat, a former stagecoach stop.

Now mainly a tourist attraction full of eclectic shops, the town is surrounded by rugged desert mountains covered by cacti.

Day-trippers from Phoenix and long distance bikers frequent the spot. Rumor has it things get a little wild after dark…
